To make travelling "easier" financially in Australia, we opted to apply for the 417 Working Holiday Visa. This allows us to work in the country to help fund our adventures. 

As of July 2019, travellers are now able to apply for a further two WHVs in Australia, allowing them to stay in the country for three years. In order to be allowed to apply for these subsequent visas, we needed to complete three months of regional work in our first year and six months in our second year.
